SURGERY SCARE 'I CAN'T LOSE HIM'
Judy Finnigan has told pals her secret worries for the future following her husband Richard Madeley’s accident last week. The TV presenter broke his arm after slipping in the street during a particularly cold spell when he was out and about in London. He later tweeted his followers saying, ‘They say there’s a first time for everything. So today I broke my arm falling on ice! Went down hard and smashed it! Operation tomoz. ‘Sigh’....’ Later in the day he added, ‘Lucky it was the left one and weirdly it’s still pretty functional. But as [John] Lennon said: ‘Life’s what happens when you’re making other plans.’’ The following day Richard underwent surgery to have titanium plates fitted to repair the shattered elbow.
