CHANGES to postal services on Islay are set to take place in order to make banking and mailing easier for residents.
The Post Office is planning on operating two new services in Ballygrant and Portnahaven, which would see both being used during set times as hosted outreaches. They are also planning on relocating the Bowmore branch 300m round the corner inside the Re-jig.
Kenny Lamont, Post Office area manager, said: ‘We are making it easier for customers to get their cash, send and collect their mail and do their banking because we know how important these services are to local residents.’
