Oban Airport is base for new air business

OBAN Airport is to be the base for a new airline business offering flying lessons and sightseeing trips.

Cloud Global Group, an aviation specialist firm which owns Perth airport operator ACS, has announced the acquisition of Border Air Training, a flying school business, gift experience provider and aircraft charter business.

Having offered specialist flight training from its offices in Cumbernauld and Carlisle for the past 25 years, the business incorporates the newly re-branded and re-energised airline Fly Scenic Scotland, as well as Fly Scenic Lake District.
