A HALLOWE’EN party was brought back from the brink thanks to community support.
Glencoe Heritage Trust (GHT) was asked to start organising parties in 2002. Under the watchful eyes of the late Lucy McColl and her sister, the late Cathy Mc-Coll, and friends, the events proved popular with some attracting as many as 100 children from nearby villages. This year however, the celebration was in jeopardy because of a double booking.
Rosalin MacDonald, trust secretary, explained: ‘As GHT wished to give something back to the community which supported them, we agreed, although it was new territory for us.
