Bill, peacefully at home with his wife Ellen beside him, on November 2, 2016, aged 89 years, much loved dad to Andrew, David, Fiona and Wendy. Son of the late Darcy and Percy Sturrock of Newport on Tay. Husband, father, brother, uncle, granddad and great-granddad to his extended family. He will be greatly missed. Funeral service on Thursday November 10 at 12.15 p.m. at Cardross Crematorium, with buffet reception to follow at The Coach House Inn. All are welcome. Family flowers only please. If desired, donations can be made to The Merchant Navy Fund and Alzheimer’s Scotland. There will be a local memorial service at St. Modan’s Church, Benderloch, on Friday November 11 2016 at 1.00 p.m.
