WHAT’S ON in Lochaber

■ The Aonach Mor Uphill Race will take place on Saturday April 14. The route is 5km and uses the red downhill mountain bike track at Nevis Range for an uphill running race. Registration opens at 2pm and the race starts at 3pm. Entries on the day.

Aye2Aye in Fort William will be holding another ‘A Better Scotland’ conference on Saturday April 14. Speakers include Robin McAlpine, director of Common Weal, and Katherine Trebeck, director of research at Wellbeing Economies Alliance. The conference is from 10am to 4pm at the Kilmallie Community Centre (Kilmallie Hall) in Corpach. A ceilidh will follow the day’s conference from 7pm.
