Chainsaw victim on fraud charges

A WOMAN who was injured in a chainsaw attack last year was due in court last Friday on three charges of embezzlement, fraud and theft.

Flora MacPherson, 64, of 78 Glenkingie Street, Caol, Fort William, did not attend Fort William Sheriff Court on Friday January 6, but was instead represented by her solicitor, Gerry Sweeney.

Mr Sweeney said his client was not in court following a psychiatric referral by her GP.
