Gaelic choir seeks new members


A raffle organised by Oban’s Celtic Supporters’ Club in December raised £2,100 for the town’s Hope Kitchen appeal to help the homeless over Christmas. Branch secretary Roddy MacIsaac said: ‘They are vulnerable people and this is the least we can do. We exceeded what we set out to do. Hopefully we can do the same next year. It might push others to do the same.’
