Busy time for Phoenix boxers


LOCHABER Phoenix Boxing Club are gearing up for an incredibly busy spell over the coming months as February heralds the beginning of the championship part of the season with all the major titles up for grabs over the course of the next few months.

The club has been very busy since the start of the year and, on top of that, three of the younger boxers – Cameron Whyte, Robert MacDonald and Shaun Wallace – travelled to Aberdeen last Sunday to take part in a sparring session with Kincorth boxing club. Sparring with multiple partners over the course of 90 minutes, the boys will have benefited greatly with advances in stamina, sharpness and technique.
