Loch Fyne Food Fair serves up Argyll’s best farming produce

THE HEAD of Loch Fyne is the venue this weekend for an event showcasing some great Argyll farming produce.

Over two days on Saturday May 14 and Sunday May 15, the Loch Fyne Food Fair will feature displays from Winston Churchill Venison from Glen Lean, near Dunoon, along with another Cowal producer in the form of Shellfield Farm. The 3,000-acre farm on the shores of Loch Riddon has been in the MacKellar family for four generations and produces lamb and mutton with a distinctive local flavour.
