Woman’s racist remark

A 20-YEAR-OLD woman from Dunbeg has been found guilty of making a racially-aggravated remark after a night out in Oban.

Adele MacIntyre, of 50 Lorn Road, Dunbeg, pleaded not guilty to using a racial remark in the early hours of January 15.

MacIntyre appeared in Oban Sheriff Court on Tuesday April 11, and after all the evidence was heard, Sheriff Ruth Anderson was satisfied that MacIntyre did utter the remark, saying: ‘It was used in a racially-offensive way.’
