MEMBERS of Dalmally Golf Club and guests remembered a long-time and much-loved club stalwart at a special season opening event.
Thirty-five players took to the course to play in a competition dedicated to the memory of former greenkeeper and club treasurer John MacKechnie, who sadly and unexpectedly died on Boxing Day.
John, who tended the greens and cared for the course for many years, would have been proud of the splendid condition of the course, prepared for the event by his successor, Angus MacGillivray, and club volunteers.
