STAFF and volunteers from Lochaber Sensory Care (LSC) for sight and hearing support will visit Abbey field Care Home, Ballachulish, on Monday July 17.

From 10.30am to 12.30pm the Caol-based team will offer help and advice to residents and members of the public living with hearing or sight loss. The LSC representatives will also supply NHS hearing aid batteries and re-tube and maintain hearing aids.

ALEXANDER McCall Smith will be opening the Highland Bookshop on Fort William High Street tomorrow, Friday July 14. He will be there from 1pm signing books and talking to customers until 2.15pm. Head along to 60 High Street, Fort William, for the opening.
