Stirling – Caledonian Marts on Monday July 10 sold 158 store cattle at their fortnightly sale.

Bullocks averaged 250ppkg selling to 276ppkg for Limousins from Spouthead, Milton of Campsie and to £1230 for a Limousin from Ardgate, Gartocharn.

Heifers averaged 240ppkg selling to 282ppkg for Limousins from Graystale, Stirling, and to £1180 for Simmentals from East Kerse, Lochwinnoch. Dairy-bred bullocks averaged 156ppkg selling to 171ppkg from Lawhill Cottages, Torrance, and to £670 from Wester Whitefield, Dunfermline.
