IMAGINE walking for three years, in British weather.

Well that’s what Alexander Ellis-Roswell is currently doing. On August 3, 2014, Alex left Kent and started walking the coastline of Britain and Ireland to raise money for RNLI lifeboats. He has now walked about 5,000 miles and has raised nearly £25,000.

Lomond School in Helensburgh hosted a visit from Alex on September 30. He spoke with primary six and seven pupils about his experiences and answered a variety of questions about his adventure. The school held a collection and Alex also collected in and around the town.
