Caol and Mallaig hustings date set

COMMUNITY hustings for the upcoming Caol and Mallaig by-election for the Highland Council will take place next week. On Friday March 23, the prospective candidates will face questions from the public and debate on issues affecting residents in ward 11, which spans an area of Lochaber which includes Invergarry, Caol, Glenfinnan, Mallaig and Knoydart.

Organised by Kilmallie Community Council, in collaboration with Caol Community Council, the hustings will take place at Caol Community Centre between 7pm and 9pm. The event will give voters a chance to put questions to all the candidates and hear what they have to say on local issues affecting constituents.
