POLICE Scotland are urging people living in Lochaber to ensure their homes, businesses and vehicles are locked at all times following a series of crimes.
In the past two weeks, valuables were stolen from a vehicle where the keys had been left easily accessible, and a commercial property in Fort William that had been left insecure was also targeted.
PC Stuart MacKellaig, crime prevention and interventions officer, said: ‘Crimes of this nature are extremely rare in this area. However, it doesn’t mean we should ever be complacent when it comes to the security of valuables.
