MARTIAL ARTS

Lo 2008 team are ‘fired’ up for the new season thanks to the generosity of a local craft business. Barcaldine-based Argyll Pottery sponsored the team with a complete set of strips in the striking club colours of yellow and blue. Business owners Carol Livingstone and Hugh MacTavish took time away from the potter’s wheel to present the players with their kit at the pottery showroom. Lochnell FC caters for primary-aged boys and girls from the Oban and Lorn area and hold their club nights on Wednesdays at Lora View pitch, North Connel.
