National firm to stock Oban mum’s product

AN OBAN mum who created a solution to uncomfortable shoes will have her product stocked in Superdrug stores across the UK.

Laura Birrell, who now lives in Glasgow, created Sticky Heelz – an anti slip pad that helps with fitting, rubbing and blistering.

Laura, who also created a ‘teardrop arch pad’ range, said: ‘Manufacturers cannot make shoes to fit every woman exactly and, in many cases, only offer half sizes in limited brands.
