THE KYLEAKIN branch of the Scottish Women’s Institute (SWI) won a national speaking competition held by the institute in Lochaber last week.
Eight teams travelled to Lochaber last week to take part in the SWI national final of the ‘variations on a theme’ competition, which was held in Kilmallie Community Centre in Corpach on Saturday April 7. Various talks were given by members of each team, with eventual winners, Kyleakin, performing A Celebration of Life.
