RAASAY Primary School pupils are enjoying a new after-school sports club.

Primary three to seven youngsters have joined the club which is run by high school students Alastair McGowan, Ewan Gillies and Robin MacLeod who have recently completed young leadership training provided by Sarah Ross, Active Schools co-ordinator.

A school spokesperson said: ‘The pupils are thoroughly enjoying the experience and the feedback from all the participants has been very positive. Many thanks to our parent volunteers who will be in attendance each week and to Alastair, Ewan and Robin for applying their leadership training within their own community.’
