HIJOBS, the pioneering Fort William-based recruitment site, is celebrating another year of success, leading the way for jobseekers in the Highlands and islands.
Its unique mobile phone app is changing the way people find work with its research data showing interesting statistics on how under-25s use the jobs market.
When it comes to finding a job and building a career, the under- 25s of Scotland’s Highlands and islands turn to the same place they live their lives: online. Nearly a quarter of new jobseekers turn to their mobile phones to find work. ‘For the mobile jobseeker, especially those who have never owned a PC, the process of finding a job should be as easy as shopping on Amazon or browsing Instagram,’ said Christopher Snelgrove, the man behind the new app developed by HIJOBS.
