CalMac set to transform services

COMMUNITY, social enterprise and safety are at the heart of the winning bid to provide west coast ferry services from October.

CalMac has revealed its plans to transform services which includes a post to promote community engagement and work with other transport providers.

Managing director Martin Dorchester said CalMac’s bid will drive improvements and transform the experience of ferry travellers, exemplify customer focus and confirm the company’s determination to make a positive difference to the communities it serves.
