Eightsome reel in the audiences on tour

ANNUALLY since 2010, Oban-based Fèis Latharna has been running the Argyll Ceilidh Trail, a three-week tour of Argyll and the Isles for eight of the area’s finest young traditional musicians.

The 2016 tour took in a total of 18 gigs, including some fantastic new venues along with some return visits.

The aim of the ceilidh trail is to provide the young musicians with the opportunity to experience work as professional traditional musicians while promoting local traditional music and Gaelic culture.
