ARGYLL and Bute Council made a £360,000 ‘profit’ from parking in the 2015-16 financial year, data analaysed for the RAC Foundation has revealed.
This resulted in the council ranking ninth out of Scotland’s 32 local authorities.
This is an increase of £30,000 compared to the previous year, when Argyll and Bute Council received £330,000 from charges and penalties.
