Oban provides great backdrop for pictures

IT HAS been a slightly cold and damp Easter but busy and enjoyable, writes Oban ambassador Kay MacDonald.

Everyone I’ve spoken to was happy to be here and I spent a lot of time taking photos of families and couples so that everyone could be in the picture, without all the contortions involved in a group selfie.

The bay presents such a fantastic background for photos that I’ve lost count of the number of pictures where I’ve been asked to try to get a ferry or the hills and sea behind the couple or family, and I love the thought that when they look at the pictures at home they’ll sigh and wish they were back here.
