Drivers in uproar over new supermarket car park rules

SIGNS suggesting blue badge holders will be fined for over staying their welcome in a Fort William supermarket car park have caused uproar on social media.

A post appeared on the ‘Buy, Sell, Swap Lochaber’ Facebook page this week informing members that new signs had been installed in Morrisons car park. The signs, which read ‘blue badge holders only’, were understood by many to restrict people with disabilities from using the car park for more than two hours and also stated ‘no return within two hours’.
