Festive greetings to our readers

Rebecca Machin, head teacher, Kinlochleven High School

‘THEN the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before.

‘Maybe Christmas,’ he thought, ‘doesn’t come from a store.’

How the Grinch Stole Christmas – Dr Seuss.

Christmas is a wonderful time of the year when we celebrate faith, family and the tradition of giving gifts to our loved ones.

Take time during the rush of the holidays to enjoy the things in life that really matter. It is a time for reminiscing as well as for looking forward but also to be thankful for the things we have and mindful of those less fortunate than ourselves.

Wishing you all a very happy Christmas.

Thomas MacLennan, Fort William and Ardnamurchan councillor
