TIREE – United Auctions held their annual early spring sale of all classes of cattle at Tiree Auction Mart. A smaller entry than normal sold well at levels comparing favourably to current mainland values. Bullocks sold to average 233.55 pence per kilo while heifers levelled out at 217.87 pence per kilo.
