BÒRD na Gàidhlig, the leading organisation responsible for the promotion of Gaelic in Scotland, has raised concerns about a Bonnie Prince Charlie and the Jacobites exhibition which opens at the National Museum of Scotland this weekend.
The exhibition doesn’t include Gaelic interpretation of a time in Scotland’s history where Gaelic was used widely.
Shona MacLennan, Bòrd na Gàidhlig chief executive, said: ‘Bòrd na Gàidhlig works with National Museums Scotland and many other public authorities to ensure that Gaelic language and culture is actively promoted in their respective organisations and throughout Scotland.
