Road to the Isles Half Marathon set for bumper turnout

THE ROAD to the Isles Half Marathon is set to be bigger than ever with more people signed up for the race than last year. Along with the half marathon, there will be 10k and 5k races and a Walk on the Wild Side will be going ahead on Saturday May 12.\

The stunning routes see runners snake through ancient woodland, jog by pretty coastal villages, run beside glorious beaches before going on to pass Loch Morar, the deepest freshwater loch in Britain; River Morar, the shortest river in Britain and Loch Nevis, the deepest seawater loch in Europe.
