HIGH school pupils ready to make life shaping decisions had the chance learn about potential careers in rural industries.
Lochaber Rural Education Trust organised a rural skills careers event in Ben Nevis Auction Mart last Friday, March 17. Following on from a successful event last year, 150 second year pupils from Lochaber High School took part.
The day started at 9.30am with stock-judging and mock valuation competitions with prizes donated by Sammy’s Chips and Lochaber Leisure Centre. Winning pupils were Robbie Brown and Jordan Campbell and the adult winners were Gillian Mann and Catherine Leckie.
