Theft of bicycle

ABOUT 11pm on Sunday August 13, a woman aged 20 allegedly stole a ladies’ bicycle from George Street, Oban. The bike was recovered and the woman was later traced, charged with the off ence and issued with a recorded police warning.

Careless driving

ABOUT 9.30pm on Tuesday August 15, on George Street, Oban, a blue Ford Focus allegedly mounted the pavement, almost colliding with pedestrians. Checks revealedfithat the 29-year-old woman driver was not insured. She was charged with off ences and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
