Calls for police crash unit in Fort

SUNDAY’S fatal road accident just south of Glencoe village has re-ignited calls for Fort William to get its own unit of police crash investigators, writes Mark Entwistle.

Adam Johnston, 56, died following the crash involving his Kawasaki bike on the A82 shortly before 1.30pm.

No other vehicle was involved, and the road was closed in both directions and did not re-open until just after 8pm.
