Mull’s past revealed by industrious volunteers

AN INDUSTRIOUS group of volunteers cleared up an almost hidden street behind Main Street in Tobermory on the isle of Mull.

Known locally as Shore Street, the street was strewn with decades of debris and overgrown bushes, but with a concerted effort from a dozen or so volunteers its appearance was immediately improved.

Councillor Mary-Jean Devon helped to organise the event and a treat for everyone who came along to help, with a barbecue to round off the work.
