New Dunbeg homes could be ‘most inclusive’

IF PLANS for 300 new homes at Dunbeg stick to a code of practice meeting the needs of people with disabilities, it will be North Argyll’s most inclusive development to date, writes Kathie Griffiths.

Oban Disability Forum has sent Argyll and Bute Council planners a letter of ‘strong support’ for the development by Link Group Ltd on land near Mains Farm. Ken Johnston from the forum said members were delighted to note ‘extensive references’ in the planning application to using inclusive design principles.
