□ Local crafts will be on sale at Duncansburgh MacIntosh Church Hall in Fort William today (Thursday April 26) from 11am to 3pm. Contact Chris on 07900 928515 for more details.

□ Nevis Canoe Club has organised sea kayak sessions for adult beginners and improvers. The first session is in the leisure centre pool tomorrow (Friday April 27) in the water 8pm to 9pm, then there are four outdoor sessions at Outward Bound Locheil on Mondays April 30 and May 7, 14, and 21 until 8.30pm. The five sessions are supported by an instructor and equipment is provided. The fee is £25 towards costs plus a membership of £15.
