Man fined £480 for hammer offence

A SHERIFF told a Kinlocheil man this week that a ‘very silly and stupid’ incident to get involved in has now seen him end up with a criminal conviction for possession of an offensive weapon.

Alastair Bryden-Henderson, of Oakbank Chalet, Kinlocheil, had pleaded guilty at Fort William Sheriff Court to having an offensive weapon, namely a hammer, in his possession at the McDonald’s restaurant car park at An Aird in Fort William, on October 10, 2016.
