Tributes paid to ‘precious, fun-loving’ Kayla, eight

AN EIGHT-YEAR-OLD girl who died during an incident near Benderloch at the weekend has been described by her parents as loving ‘music and dance as well as doing hair, nails and make-up’.

Kayla MacDonald, a pupil at the Rockfield Gaelic-medium unit in Oban, died at the scene of the incident on a forestry path on Sunday. She was a fluent Gaelic speaker.

The well-loved daughter was home for the weekend after spending most of the summer holidays on the island of Tiree.
