Green Machine lose at Garnock

Garnock 19

Oban Lorne 6

BT West Division 1

OBAN Lorne travelled to Garnock following back-to-back victories over Helensburgh and Carrick.

The Oban side were without David McCabe following his double yellow card. Also missing was Cameron Smith who injured his knee against Carrick. The forward pack welcomed back ‘Frenchie’ Antoine Parmisaux, with the backs re-shuffling to accommodate McCabe’s absence. Alessandro Franzo started at outside centre with a versatile Richard McKay inside him and the back three was made up of Aleksejs Maslakovics, Iwan Roberts and Calum MacLachlan.
