YOUNG members of the Lochaber Gymnastics Club will have an extra spring in their step thanks to the support of Liberty British Aluminium whose sponsorship is helping them buy a new vaulting table.
The company which runs the smelter at Fort William sent representatives Rosie Flannigan and Cara-lyn Gray along to the Nevis Centre to see some of the agile youngsters in action and to hand over a cheque for £500 towards the new equipment.
The popular club, which boasts about 200 members aged one to 17, is busy putting the gymnasts through their paces in preparation for the big club competition in May and hopes to send some of its athletes forward for regional and all-Scotland events later in the year.
