SEVEN people were caught speeding on the A85 near Arrivain farm over the past week. Oban police carried out a number of speed checks on this stretch of road and found seven motorists who were travelling more than 80mph, with three recorded at more than 100mph.

TWO MOTORISTS have been reported for careless driving after four cars were involved in a crash on the A85 near the Wide Mouthed Frog last Saturday. Two women were taken to Oban hospital following the incident at 2.10pm, but were released after being treated for minor injuries. The road was closed for several hours.
