Social media

There was a big response to the news that Country Wide Events had cancelled a planned concert in Oban’s Corran Halls by a Bee Gees tribute band because of poor ticket sales. Only 80 had been sold. Niall M Cameron asked: ‘When was this set up and why no advertising? Not that I’m interested in the Bee Gees but hate to see a venue like this not being properly advertised. Social media is a wonderful thing; please feel free to advertise. Still I’m staying alive but it is such a tragedy.’
