Choir bids a fond farewell to director with rousing concert

THE KILMALLIE Singers said farewell to their musical director/ conductor with a concert and pudding party on Thursday, June 16.

Andrew Simpson has been with the choir for a total of 21 years, starting as a tenor and taking over as musical director and conductor following the loss of Heather Moore in 2006.

He is now moving to near Stratfordupon-Avon with his wife Angela to be closer to family.
