A FIVE-YEAR project to transform the North Corran play park in Ardgour has been given a boost thanks to grants totalling nearly £37,000.

Ardgour Improvements (SCIO), the community group leading the development, is to receive a Scottish Action Fund Grant of £26,961 to help revamp the play park, while funding from the National Lottery’s small grants programme has contributed a further £10,000.

Mrs MacInnes, secretary of Ardgour Improvements, said: ‘The existing play park in Ardgour is popular but no longer fit for purpose as the two pieces of equipment are rusty, outdated and need upgrading.
