‘Freshers’ Fest’ to take place on September 16

A recently set up music group is putting on its first show this month.

‘Fresher’s Fest’ will take place on Saturday September 16 in Cuan Mor.

Freshers’ Fest will be a fun-filled night showcasing local musical talent and a chance to welcome students who will be studying locally in the upcoming academic year.

Originally founded by local music enthusiasts Duncan Kearey, Kevin Irvine and Angela Anderson, Oban Music Group (OMG) aims to bring a diverse range of live music events to Oban. Alongside booking talent for gigs in town, the group wishes to give local talent a platform to perform original music.
