EXOTIC animals have visited Oban and Lorn primary schools as part of a unique workshop to encourage kids to explore their senses.
ZooLab workshops attended five schools providing the opportunity for youngsters to acquaint themselves with African land snail, Madagascar hissing cockroach, corn snake, cane toad, emperor scorpion, Caribbean hermit crab or Chilean rose tarantula.
The animal handling experience was enjoyed by children ranging from nursery classes to primary three pupils at Dunbeg, Lochnell, Park, Rockfield and St Columba’s primary schools in collaboration with Specsavers Oban.
