BBC MASTERCHEF champion Gary Maclean features on the menu of a new festival on Skye in June.
The winner of the 2016 professionals series says he is looking forward to taking part in the first Spirit of Skye Festival, which brings together the best of Scotland’s whisky, gin, beer, music and food under one roof.
The two-day event, at the Aros Centre, Portree, between Friday and Saturday, June 16 and 17, will serve up a feast of demonstrations and talks by major drinks brands and local experts, creative masterclasses, live music, local produce stalls, two of Scotland’s finest chefs, film and a grand finale barbecue and ceilidh featuring four of Scotland’s best Scots trad musicians.
