A LOCHABER architect has won a series of awards.
Ann Nisbet, founding director of Ann Nisbet Studio, won a Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) award for a contemporary rural farmhouse in Ayrshire, as well as being shortlisted for Emerging Scottish Architect of the Year.
The project is one of three buildings in Scotland to have won a Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) national award. The building has also won a place on the RIBA House of the Year longlist, which is filmed by Channel 4’s Grand Designs and will be televised over four episodes in November; the 2017 Saltire Housing Design Award; the RIBA National Award; the RIAS Architecture Award and the 2017 Best Residential Building; Scottish Design Awards.
