MEMBERS of the public are invited to get involved in the £18 million Helensburgh Waterfront Development. A formal 12-week public consultation began on Monday February 26.
Councillor Ellen Morton, chairwoman of the Helensburgh and Lomond Area Committee said: ‘The Helensburgh Waterfront Development project is about creating a vibrant and attractive waterfront for the town that will benefit local people and, by attracting day visitors, local businesses. We want to involve communities as much as possible, so are going beyond what is required by the planning process.
‘We have already consulted with a number of groups and will hold three public events to give people the chance to find out more and voice their views. I would encourage everyone to get involved.’
